about

HERE IT IS. ITS HERE. LOOK AT IT THERE.

We're probably the most excited about this EP. The blood spilt, the coladas ingested, the muscles pulled putting Tamez's cabinet in the trunk of the van, strings broken, khaki shorts worn, pizzas eaten, and the games of smash played culminated into this disasterpiece. Just kidding. We love it. We hope you love it. Tons of hugs, tons of love, and tons of thanks to everyone that's supported us since our first show in January. None of this would have been possible if y'all didn't support us. So for every share and like and everything else you guys have done for us. This is for you.

Track Name: It Wouldn't Hurt to Tell the Truth Sometimes
Oh god, it happened again
Remembered what you said
What you meant from the start
How you try to make things hard

Well goddamn though I was sleeping
I couldn't make much sense
With my head up in the clouds
And nothing to pull me down

Caught inside the web of lies
That you weaved yourself in
Full of nameless alibis when your palms start to sweat
In the heat of the moment
Track Name: Old Habits Die Hard
You can call it what you want
A theme park without thrills
A Christmas tree with dying light
An addict stuck on worthless pills

Could've given you an ear
Could've lended you a hand
But I'm right back on my own two feet
And this is where I take my stand

Spent so much time
As a fly on the wall
And I won't go back
To looking down

What's good withholding back your demons
When the test of time has realized
we can't hold back what's inside

Believe me I'm just getting older
I'm scared straight of what's to come
With buried memories from when I was young

But the past is in the past
And it's better off that way
I know we had our share of fun
but I think it's time to get moving on

At least we can say that we surely had it coming
Oh how the times have changed since we were barely sixteen
Memories change, but emotions cannot last
It's time to go our separate ways
(face the world and take some chances)

To make the most
Of our fucked up situation
And I can't go back
FEELING SORRY FOR MYSELF

Spent so much time
As a fly on the wall
And I won't go back
To looking down

What's good withholding back your demons
When the test of time has realized
we can't hold back what's inside

Believe me I'm just getting older
I'm scared straight of what's to come
With buried memories from when I was young

But the past is in the past
And it's better off that way
I know we had our share of fun
but I think it's time to get moving on

Going through the same old bullshit
That we're used to
Round and round
and round and round we go (x2)

Believe me I'm just getting older
I'm scared straight of what's to come
With buried memories from when I was young

But the past is in the past
And it's better off that way

Track Name: The Friend You Say You Are
You're texting her
Making sure she's okay
You think he's an asshole for stealing her away from you

Well I got news for you that you don't wanna hear
You're self centered and egotistic for holding all these years

And I'm sure that you think it's fine
But I know you'll see in time

(That it's)
Not fair
To do that to someone
They know that you, love them so
Drop the unrequited feelings

You're hurting everyone involved
So do them both the favor and
Be the friend you say you are

there's possible way that you think this is healthy
When you're just wasting every day
You spend buried in the sand
You're being so selfish and
I can't imagine dealing with you for so long

And I'm sure that you think it's fine
But I know you'll see in time

(That it's)
Not fair
To do that to someone
They know that you, love them so
Drop the unrequited feelings

You're hurting everyone involved
So do them both the favor and
Be the friend you say you are

(Solo)

It's Not fair

Drop the unrequited feelings

You're hurting everyone involved
So do them both the favor and
Be the friend you say you are
Track Name: Profit
Searching for new fans
Through false lifted status
The pure and the sinful
The lost social outcasts

At least you're reminded
"Stay young feeble minded"
Forgetting who you were
Destroying your self worth

But what do we all know? We just blindly follow
a message to the masses In orderly fashion

Changing mentality in sync with the season
Fixing your dogma without rhyme or reason

Sit back, watch the magic
Uncontested feedback
I found my own path
Carved by these two hands

Covered by your curtain
Unsure what is certain
Preaching your message
Betraying your message

So keep preaching bullshit
To them they will listen
You give them a half truth
But somehow convince them

Don't you come at me
I'm much better than this
Your arms spread wide open
Hanging from crossbeams

Sit back, watch the magic
Uncontested feedback
I found my own path
Carved by these two hands

Covered by your curtain
Unsure what is certain
Preaching your message
Betraying your message

[this is where you get schwifty ;)]
